Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

1. Scope

This notice applies to consumer health data processed through Bebeca Health that may identify or be reasonably linked to a person. It supplements the Privacy Policy and is intended to provide the disclosures required by applicable U.S. consumer health privacy laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act where it applies.

Bebeca Health is a wellness and educational service, not a healthcare provider or health plan. Information stored here generally is not a medical record protected by HIPAA. Other privacy and consumer health laws may still apply.

2. Consumer health data we collect

Depending on the features you choose, we may collect:

• Questionnaire questions, answers, section scores, total scores, result ranges, summaries, completion dates, and whether a result was shared for Bebeca Health review.
• Height, weight entries, dates recorded, calculated trends, movement goals, mobility interests, preferred practice duration, and class-completion history.
• Live or recorded class participation, reservations, attendance, and information you voluntarily communicate about mobility, discomfort, physical or mental wellbeing, routines, or bodily functions.
• Inferences generated directly from your entries, such as questionnaire ranges, score summaries, or weight-progress charts.

3. Sources and purposes

We collect consumer health data directly from you when you complete a questionnaire, save a result, add a weight entry, set a movement preference, reserve or attend a class, or communicate with us. We also generate basic calculations from the information you submit and receive attendance events from our class systems.

We use this data to provide the feature you requested; calculate and display results or trends; maintain your history; personalize your account experience; allow authorized Bebeca Health administrators to review a result you intentionally share; support live and recorded classes; protect the Service; and comply with law. We do not use consumer health data for targeted advertising, automated eligibility decisions, or sale.

4. Who receives consumer health data

Authorized Bebeca Health administrators may receive questionnaire results you intentionally submit for review and account information necessary to support your membership. Instructors receive only information reasonably necessary to conduct a class. Other participants may see or hear content you choose to transmit during a live class.

Service providers may process limited consumer health data on our behalf: Supabase hosts the account database and private storage; LiveKit transmits live-class media and participation events; Mux hosts recorded classes and processes viewing activity; Vercel hosts the website and operational requests; Resend delivers messages that may relate to support. Stripe generally receives billing and membership information rather than questionnaire answers or weight history.

We may also disclose data when legally required or to professional advisers bound by appropriate duties. We do not sell consumer health data and do not permit a processor to use it for its own advertising.

5. Your choices and rights

You may choose not to use health-related features. You may request confirmation of whether we collect or share your consumer health data, access the data, obtain a list of relevant third parties, withdraw consent for future collection or sharing, or request deletion by emailing contact@bebecahealth.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the period required by applicable law. If we deny a request, our response will explain how to appeal.

A deletion request may require us to notify relevant processors and may take additional time to reach archives or backups where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. You may use an authorized agent where applicable, subject to verification of authority.

6. Consent and changes

We collect health-related entries when you actively provide them and share a questionnaire with Bebeca Health only when the interface tells you that submission will share it. If a future feature requires a separate consent—such as sale, a materially different sharing purpose, or recording a live session—we will request that consent before the processing begins.

We will not materially change how consumer health data is collected, used, or disclosed without updating this notice and obtaining any consent required by law. The version and effective date appear above.
